It’s That Time of Year…

We know it is still early. I mean, we have not even gotten through Halloween yet, right?  But it seems we should prepare earlier and earlier. The more we are prepared, the better off this whole season of life goes.  Shoot, even retail stores are prepared all year these days. You cannot walk into a Target without seeing the decorations and pictures whether it is June or December.

You know what I am talking about. Cinco De Mayo.

Wait, what is so exciting about the fifth of May? Sure, some college kids use it as a day of celebrating and drinking, but to most people it is just another day.  I don’t really remember last Cinco De Mayo. That could change this year. Forever.

See, it is about that time we will be celebrating the 3rd.  Not May 3rd.  But our 3rd child.

Jillyshelly is pregnant :-)

Now, before you flip out, you should know we are aware of the following:

  • We know there is an economic downturn. Not our baby
  • Yes, we know how this happens.
  • Yes, it was planned.
  • No, we are not sure how many kids we will have total. Don still likes a hockey team (6), but is cool with whatever the final number is.
  • Yes, our two boys already know. They keep good secrets.
  • Obviously it is now public news…it’s on the interwebs.
  • No, we do not know the gender, it is still too early.

Sound good?  We are excited. Remember to pray for us as we go through the winter growing a little baby.

:-)

(ps, that is not our bambino in the ultrasound picture. We got it from Flickr.)

Also, the actual due date is May 3rd… but you know how due dates go… so we should be either waiting, delivering, or celebrating Baby #3 on Cinco de Mayo. Wherever we are in the process, please celebrate with us!

Congrats! So exciting!

A couple years ago we didn’t even know what Cinco De Mayo was. So we decided to get married on that day. Now we know and we know we can never again go to Don Pablos for our anniversary dinner.
