I Believe Bunny: Book Review
By: Tish Rabe and illustrated by Frank Endersby.
This is the fist children’s book in the I Believe Bunny Series. Though it is part of a series, the story stands alone and does not need to be read in conjunction with the other books in order to make sense. I received this book for review from Thomas Nelson Publishers (http://brb.thomasnelson.com/.)
I love that this story opens with and is written around Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” I think this book is a good springboard for scripture memorization with children.
The story itself is written in rhyme and was very fun to read to my boys. Bunny found out he could do something great and seemingly impossible when he prayed to God and trusted Him for help. God sent Bunny’s friends to help him rescue the drowning Mouse. My two year old was especially enthralled by the dangerous situation Bunny was called to act upon and cheered when Bunny and his friends rescued Mouse.
I recommend this book for children ages 2-5.
